⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My album and DVD arrived yesterday! Firstly I watched the concert DVD and from the very moment it started I was carried along on such an emotional journey! Watching how Jonathan has grown, honed his craft, takes control of the stage and engages with his audience is exceptional. That’s before I Even mention his singing! The emotion he portrays, light and shade in his voice, the fact that he draws you into the story is incredible. I didn’t want the concert to end and was willing him to keep talking, singing, having fun! Then....... Nessus Dorma! I’m sure I was so mesmerised I forgot to breath! So worth the wait And so beautifully executed by this phenomenal young man! He’s only 25! Hard to get your head around that fact!
I was walking my Denzil this morning and listened to the MP3 version of the album. I found myself singing along, waving my hands to the sky! The album instantly lifted my mood! Each song as an inspirational message behind it! I encourage everyone to listen through headphones at least once... I found a whole new depth and connection with Jonathan and the lyrics. I felt empowered, loved, inspired to go and be, do what I want to do! I dont think there are many artists that can have that effect! The Antoine effect is going strong! It’s Going the distance! Bravo Jonathan And Team A ❤️🤩🎉🥳
Jonathan's Album, and Concert are both Worldclass.Simom Cowell was absolutely spot on,when he said the same of Jonathan.Its been Wonderful to watch his Journey from BGT.to where He is today.It's been sheer hard work for Jonathan,and all his Fabulous team,to produce this Beautiful Album and DVD. I was fortunate to be able to travel to Toronto in June 2019 and attend the two magnificent Jonathan Antoine Concerts in the historic Elgin & Wintergarden Theatre. This beautiful theatre was a magical setting for the most magnificent concerts! Hearing and seeing Jonathan Antoine performing LIVE is an exceptional experience.
What an amazing journey Jonathan took the audience on during the three Acts of this well planned concert. From the very first Act which began with his rousing rendition of "Go The Distance" the audience applauding and giving Jonathan the "Hero's Welcome" he so richly deserved. Continuing with Disney classics meaningful and poignant in Jonathan's youth.
Act 2 we continued on the emotional rollercoaster of beautifully diverse classics from the Great American Song Book with the wonderfully poignant COMPASS and COUNTRY ROADS to name but a few.
Act 3 more magnificently performed powerful classics, so suited to this amazing young man's beautifully musical, powerful Tenor voice! With wonderful stage setting visual backdrops, amazing orchestra, we were easily transported to Italy with Jonathan introducing each piece, perfect performances of Parla Piu Piano, Amor Ti Vieta, Caruso until the finale, Antoine's first public and triumphant performance of Nessun Dorma.
What an amazing concert captured LIVE in this magnificent DVD which is a treasure to own. Watching the DVD I have been transported back to relive the tremendous time in Toronto. Thank you Jonathan for the most wonderful CD, an amazing recording and brilliant DVD of your live Concert, both are World Class and a true gift.
Now 1 year on, June 2020, during these troublesome Covid19 times, the release of your new album GOING THE DISTANCE ~ a truly exceptional CD & DVD are wonderful examples of how your voice and music is uplifting and gives us #MusicForHope during these difficult times. He was only 24 when this GOING THE DISTANCE wonderful album and LIVE Concert were recorded!
