Jonathan Antoine has many musical interests. We love hearing what fans would like to hear from him. Who knows, you may be surprised and hear him sing your request one day!
I would never have listened to Opera until I discovered Mr Antoine - and so would never have had a love affair with Puccini & This Golden Voice! - Totally convinced it is the next great classical Voice to introduce these great composers to the next generation! - love everything he sings - but is a rare voice that can do some of the best music in the world justice and in Mr Antoine's case Elevate it!
Please sing "Notte" by Pavarotti, I still love "Creep" (I don't think Radiohead does it justice).. Fred would like you to sing "12th of Never," "Where do I begin, " "Stardust," We will be back later with another list!! Love you...
I speculate Jonathan likes Rock, how about some southern rock a simple classic of some kind. Any one can see Jonathan has a wide love of music. Evan though opera isn't what I look for on the radio dial, I am so pleased Jonathan is keeping tradition is such a masterful way. I grew up listening to Aretha Franklin, Loretta Lynn, Percy Sledge, Beatles but we should keep the origins of music.
First of all, congratulation on your interpretation of "Unchained Melody", the best of them all. Now what about singing for our greatest pleasure "Only you" by the Platters ?All the best to you Jonathan.
Jonathan is wonderful, with such a gorgeous, heartfelt voice. I would love to hear Jonathan sing some beautiful heartfelt Hebrew / Jewish songs, including "Esa Einai" (I will lift up my eyes to the mountains, Shlomo Carlebach version); Adon Olam (Uzi Hitman version - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d29qSLUstxw ); Moa Tzur (Rock of Ages); Etz Chaim (Tree of Life - especially this version - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkDUwOADTkc, but all versions are beautiful); Avinu Malkenu (Our Father, Our King - Barbra Streisand did a gorgeous version of this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydxePZKCyvo ); Lemaan Achai (For the Sake of My Brothers and Friends, Shlomo Carlebach - see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=byqV6A6PuWc ); Jerusalem of Gold; Hatikva (The Hope); Shalom Aleichem (Peace Be Upon You - see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ux5TH9TPSMU ); Shir HaMaalot (Song of Ascents, Psalm 126 - see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fNpErJ_C5k ); Ani Maftiach Lach (I Promise You, My Little Daughter, That This Will Be The Last War - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tck7E8_cr5s , written after the surprise attack on Israel on Yom Kippur 1973 in which thousands of Israelis were killed and injured); Ladino (Spanish Jewish) songs including: I Love You Quietly, Almost Secretly (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFpjsykEocQ ); Dror Yikra (He Will Proclaim Freedom - see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFpjsykEocQ ; there are also other versions of this); Erev Shel Shoshanim (Evening of Roses - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VEpNy0_EjHU ). Thank you!
I know the Maestro rates Elvis and I would Love his twist on a few Elvis songs! 'Falling In Love' would be at the top of my list! but anything he likes!
I have one more suggestion, since everyone is trying to sing "Shallow" & most look like they are in pain when the high notes come in, I think you should sing it the way it is meant to be sung.. You could totally kill this song..
Dear Jonathan, I would love to hear you sing: All by Myself, You Raise me Up, Without you, Stairway to Heaven, Nessun Dorma (of course).. Creep, ( I just love this song.). anything by Queen or the Beatles.. This is just a few, I will be back with more titles!! maybe a few country songs that could do with a make over..
I would love to hear Jonathan perform Sondheim. Several number spring to mind: Anyone Can Whistle, Being Alive, No More, Not A Day Goes By, My Friends, Finishing The Hat—all would be worthy contenders.
One rather audacious idea would be to perform all three parts from Pretty Lady (Pacific Overtures), arguably the greatest piece of triple counterpoint ever written for theatre.
I would also suggest the finale from Floyd Collins: How Glory Goes. To hear Jonathan sing any of these would be an immense pleasure, and material worthy of his superb talent.
It would be beautiful if Jonathan would enjoy hearing these special songs ...
Tony Bennett "OnceUponATime"
David Gates & Bread "Diary" "IF"
❤🎵😊
I’d love to hear Jonathan sing ‘Some Enchanted Evening’ My heart would melt ♥️
Good suggestions!
would love for Jonathan to sing HERO
I would love to hear Mr Antoine sing just about anything though I am partial to rock.
I keep imagining him doing a cover of Meat Loaf's Bat Out Of Hell or Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad
Keep those suggestions coming. 😀

I'm sure whatever is on the new album will be wonderful but I will come back soon with some songs I'd like to hear Jonathan sing
