I absolutely loved the TOGETHER album. After watching the BGT audition in 2012, then the Documentary made about Jonathan & Charlotte in the first year of their duo, I was delighted to know an album was being recorded. This was my introduction into enjoying Classical Music. I had never heard of CARUSO, FORSE, or CANTO DELLA TERRA but they soon became firm favourites. I also thought it was absolutely beautiful to hear modern, well known Pop songs sung in Italian by the duo and I adored Elton Jon's "Your Song" Gary Barlow's "Rule The World" Queen (Fredy Mercury's) "Who Wants to Live Forever" and "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" by British singer/songwriter Ewan MacColl all of these popular, well known songs given a beautiful Classical representation by this young duo.
I have a special memoir of this album, because of that amazing version of who want to live for ever! Magnificent. And would be awesome to hear it again with that voice that J has now!
Loved the Together album, thought all the tracks were brilliant, listened to it on Christmas Day 2012 with tears rolling down our cheeks. Then saw you at the Symphony Hall on the 'Together Tour' you were absolutely fantastic, gave us chills & those encores, what a reception. Jonathan you've done Ave Maria on 'Believe' any chance that you'll be re-visiting some of the other tracks as solo performances? Peggy & Keith Wagstaff xx
