Being that a remake of The Lion King is coming to theatres tomorrow, I thought it prudent to share the very first snippet of content from my show at the Wintergarden theatre in Toronto. The 1994 animated version of The Lion King was one of the most prevalent motion pictures of my developing years; I would watch it on repeat over and over, sat in front of a small TV/VHS combo from the late 90s. The music and visuals of the film have had a profound effect on me that carries on even to this day. I would like to present to you “Can You Feel The Love Tonight” with the hope that this message of love and understanding can be one that you take away with you. Every person you see on the street has an equally as deep and complex story as you do, and we are all the main character of our own story.
