With three men in the house all sitting up watching the American Super Bowl, I am enjoying listening to you on my husband’s new Amazon Echo. Will you get the royalties from Amazon for every song I listen too? I hope you do!
I am in my seventieth year, I make my sons laugh when I say I was born the same year as the NHS 1948 - they reply before colour pictures in the black & white days. I have let technology pass me by, when something breaks down I shout “John this is not working” my sister who lives on her own is forever giving me a row for not trying myself. I am ashamed to say I only got a pay as you go mobile last year and have only made one call. Prefer speaking to people rather than texting, although I e-mail quite a bit.
I am still learning too but it gets easier more I try. Jonathan has got me tweeting facebooking Instgram Shazam and Spotify lol Im nearly 72 my Grandson laughs at me .
Hi Marlene , I too have googled the song titles. I have found it so interesting to research the stories within the songs too. It sounds a good idea what you have suggested .
i love to see the English translation too but i just type the Italian tittle in to google lol its easy. it will tide you over till you can get all the lyrics. 😎💖
When you bring out your new album later this year, would it be possible to include a pamphlet with the words in English so that I can understand the meaning of the songs and maybe attempt to singalong. Don’t know the logistics of this on a CD but some old albums we used to buy included the words on the back or even produce a download from your website.
When I put on your CD this morning your voice cheered me up and always puts a smile on my face which my husband John is also happy to see Ha Ha! I don’t have a favourite song – can’t make up my mind as each one is a pleasure to listen to. From someone who can’t sing a note, listening to your songs that go into a crescendo top note makes my heart sore with you. You should know what your music means to me, I take comfort in the knowledge that your loyal Fantonians’ devotion (which I am proud to be one of) also gives you a smile or two.
ps I am honoured to say I officially sang with you at the Lowther Pavilion – what a great idea that was to have a singalong with the audience.
Just keep on doing what you are doing. You appear to have got it right so far and I have complete faith in you to keep on getting it right! So looking forward to the new album.
Well between Pintrest, Facebook and Twitter I was wondering if we can get some recent photos of you? Your smiling face makes me happy along with your beautiful voice ..Pretty Please :)
well what a lot of great questions. I know you have threee cats, so a dog is not a great idea just now .Is your choice still a Corgi if ever you do get a dog ?
Just sitting here after a wonderful 2 days of celebrating your success on being # 1 WHOOT 🎊🎊❤️ and during my breaks and watching my 22 yr old playing computer games and watching dr who reruns and you tube videos and I was just wondering is it hard to balance your talent with just being a young man / new relationships and regular 22 year old stuff? 🤔You seem so grounded and attentive to all your fans ( who includeing me ) adore you tremendously 🤗 How do you keep up with it all ?
Can you think of one thing you really miss about your "old" life and the best thing about your "new" life? Also, what are the chances of a DVD behind the scenes!!??!!??
Hi Jonathan, I'm not one to question. Just love your voice, no matter what song. Oh and I love your corporeal look, you should do it more often. I look forward to hearing more music from you, Nessun Dorma would be wonderful and I would love to hear you sing Paligli (I dont know how to spell it ) the Crying Clown is it beautiful song. Oh and I am so impressed at your ability to run up and down the scales with what appears to be no effort at all. You are the first thing I listen to in the morning to start my day, and the last thing at night before retiring. You are a blessed young man with the voice of an angel.
Hi Jonathan we all know you are amazingly talented and I have heard you play your guitar, (in Manchester I think it was). I am wondering how many instruments you can play? And is the guitar your favourite?
Thinking of the first time i saw you live, you walked on to the stage during your perfomance in 2012 at Potters to sing your amazing vesrion of Bring Him Home .You undid your carefully tied bow tie and my heart skipped a beat.I thought here is the James Bond of Tenor voices. Question is are you ever going to wear a hand tied bow tie again? I know you are more comfortable without a tie , but if the occassion warranted a bow tie ?
I would love to hear you sing Nessun Dorma ,only beacause it will sound incrediable comming from you I know it will ,I have looked every where and there is nothing from you singing that. And oh man most if not all your music has brought tears and goose bumps, I would only imagine full out freak if you sang that.
I know that you enjoy drawing and sketching but do you have a favourite artist? I have an eclectic taste in art from Salvador Dali to Da Vinci! What about you?
Hi Jonathan, i know that you are starting to write some stuff about your experiences and I wondered if you are planning to produce a book at some stage?

Do you like to read? What is your favorite book or author? I love to read. I've read thousands of books, some like Treasure Island and Christmas Carol hundreds of times over, but I can rarely remember author's names! Who wrote Peter Pan? I've read it 1000 times, it's genius, couldn't tell you who wrote it though, even though I have tried to make note to remember it! I think it was a man..? Love Charles Dickens. Love the classics, but newer stuff too like Anne Rice, the Dragonlance books (my sons middle name is Majere after Raistlin and Caramon) JR Tolkien, and Rowling, Stephen King, Meg Cabbot, Lemoney Snicket, and You? Thanks again! :) <3

Dear Jonathan, If you were a Pokemon which Pokemon would you be? I think I would be..Eevee, or Squirtle, or, if Eevee and Squirtle had a baby. I love Charizard though because i love fire, and dragons and mythical creatures in general. Also, have you ever been to Stonehenge? If I visit Britain could we go there together and have a picnic? What is your favorite sandwich? Mine is a Full Monty, which is roast beef, turkey, cheddar and Swiss cheese! Do you like cheese? :P Do you have a favorite color? Mine is grey. Do you have a favorite animal? One of my favorites is hyenas because they are canine and feline at the same time, which is neat, and possums, because they are North Americas only marsupial, and elephants because they have matriarchal societies and are so smart. Thanks, Hope you're having a beautiful day, love you, and your music!! Groundbreaking stuff! You're an amazing artist! Keep up the great work! xx
Will you ever sometime study the score of La Boheme for the part of Rudolfo - even just for practice! and 'in case' (do so hope)

The stars were shining
Versions: #1#2#3
(Literal translation)
-
The stars were shining,
And the earth was scented.
The gate of the garden creaked
And a footstep grazed the sand...
Fragrant, she entered
And fell into my arms.
Oh, sweet kisses and languorous caresses,
While feverishly I stripped the beautiful form of its veils!
Forever, my dream of love has vanished.
That moment has fled, and I die in desperation.
And I die in desperation!
And I never before loved life so much,
Loved life so much!
CHE GELIDA MANINA English Translation
What a frozen little hand,
let me warm it for you.
What's the use of looking?
We won't find it in the dark.
But luckily
it's a moonlit night,
and the moon
is near us here.
Wait, mademoiselle,
I will tell you in two words,
who I am, what I do,
and how I live. May I?
Who am I? I am a poet.
What do I do? I write.
And how do I live? I live.
In my carefree poverty
I squander rhymes
and love songs like a lord.
When it comes to dreams and visions
and castles in the air,
I've the soul of a millionaire.
From time to time two thieves
steal all the jewels
out of my safe, two pretty eyes.
They came in with you just now,
and my customary dreams
my lovely dreams,
melted at once into thin air!
Bu the theft doesn't anger me,
for their place has been
taken by hope!
Now that you know all about me,
you tell me who you are.
Please do!

Hi Jonathan , where has been your favourite place to visit so far on holiday.
Each song you sing you do it with so much emotion and heart. Why don´t you want to sing a role in an opera ?
You have returned home after your highly successful world tour -what is on the table for your welcome home meal ?

Hi Jonathan. If you were able to visit or holiday anywhere in the world, where would you like to go?
