I hope, one of my wishes, after COVID, to see Jonathan in concert. I live in Washington state, USA, and WANT to go see Jonathan in person.
His story, from BGT and now, is something to write about. He reminds me of my son, but he went into computers, and ironically, just like Jonathan, he likes heavy metal.
Hi all, I'm María from Querétaro Mexico, I'm following Mr. Antoine since June 2012. When I friend of mine send me the BGT audition, I can't believe my ears, such a beautiful voice.
I'm a computer Engineer, programming is my specialty. Mother of two young ladies. I like to sing, I belong a chorus here in Querétaro, and I love to sew (That's because I'm an old model). I was in the concerts of California and Toronto. Happy to have had the opportunity to hold the hand of the Maestro Jonathan Antoine.
Hello Volia -Louise It is wonderful you have found Jonathan -his music will certainly enhance your life -he is an inspiration in many different ways but his voice is the one thing that really gets to your inner self.I hope you get to hear him sing live one day and you get to meet both him and other Fantoines too x
Hi Volia-Louise, it is so lovely to have you join us & so pleased you have found Jonathan! I hope you continue to find comfort, strength & joy in music; Jonathan inspires us all in many ways! There are some others from SA who post on Jonathan's FB page & I hope he does visit there in future <3
Hi Volia-Louise, Welcome. What a sad but beautiful post . I am delighted you have discovered Jonathan and you find him such an inspiration. I wish you well with your vocalist. ❤️
Jonothan(if I may call you on your name)) ; I only found your journey on YouTube about 2 weeks ago!
I am in my 50s. Live in South Africa. Music is my passion;singing is the breath to my soul.
I did a few instruments and dancing through my life. But singing is me.
But I did get very ill...still not fit and healthy.
I started to go to a vocalist to help me get my voice "instruments" back. But it is really diffycult. I had bad injuries to inside my face, especially my jaws and jawjoint. You will understand what that means for a singer.
I got myself to listen to music on the one side of my head. It worked and the music is just taking me again! Now to go back to the vocalist and really do this!
I need to thank you! You became such an inspiration to me! When I listen to you .....I feel the music,I live it ; and I sing it! I get goosebumps and tears and victorius moments.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
I hope that one day I can experience you live in concert. But they will have to close my mouth and tie up my arms;because there is just no way I can sit quietly listening to you!
May you go all the way and be blessed as you are blessing so many people. With your gift as an amazing Tenor ; but also with your wonderful personality !
I received a trip to see Jonathan as a Christmas gift from my husband. The wait was the longest 5 months of my life! I had such a great time meeting the lovely Jan Smith and many other wonderful Fantoines, that my husband surprised me with a trip to see him in Gawsworth for my birthday in August. That was an amazing day! The release of Believe, my birthday, getting to see Jan and the other fans, and Jonathan again made for a day to remember forever! I wish I could go again for the Christmas concert. Maybe if I beg my husband a little harder. LOL I wish Jonathan the best. He is an amazing young man with a warm and loving heart. His voice sings to your soul!
Hi marlene_mcadam I wish I had met you at Viva Blackpool, there were a few of us there from Scotland & many are going to Lytham in December. I personally do not want to miss a chance to hear Jonathan live again. I like all genre of music but there is no one to compare with Jonathan, he is the voice of my life time. Great that another Scot will help spread the joy of Jonathan & his wonderful voice.
Isn't it wonderful how Jonathan has touched all of us in some way since we first saw and heard him on TV .You will meet many fellow Fantoines in Lytham -which is only 80 days away and it can't come quick enough can it .
If you want to learn some of the words to the beautiful songs Jonathan has record then this site has them
Hi there to all, my name is Marlene from Bonny Scotland. I did not know much about opera before, the only Tenor I had heard was at my mother’s knee listening to Joseph McLaughlin, known professionally as Josef Locke, an Irish tenor and the bass voice of the great Paul Robeson. I am a Tamla Motown girl too many great artists to mention here, and remember well, my mother taking us to my first theatre visit in 1960 to see The Platters perform at the Odeon in Glasgow. My music choices have grown over the years and when like so many writing here, saw Jonathan and Charlotte sing on BGT fell in love with your voice. My two sons Barrie and David have bought me all your CD’s and I listen to you Jonathan every day while making meals in the kitchen where I let your voice ring out and again your CD’s play in the car for every journey. One of my sons David is so like you Jonathan with long wavy dark hair, so loving and kind, he still plays D&D and Role Playing with his friends from his University days, standing 6’3” I call him my gentle giant as I am 5’2” eyes of blue. The highlight of this year was seeing Jonathan live at the Aviva Blackpool – the whole evening was magical what a great night. David Walliams said on BGT Semi Finals “I have no clue what you are singing about but I wanted to cry” it would be good if I could interpret all the words in your songs but the voice is more than enough for me and you DO MAKE ME CRY WITH JOY. My husband John and I will be coming to see you again at the Lowther Pavilion in Lytham and so looking forward to it. It is a rare gift you have to bring so much pleasure into our lives. Thank you Jonathan.
I don’t do Twitter or Facebook, this site is the only time I have opened up on social media – see what you have done for me Jonathan!
I have to say that Jonathan is my brother from another mother. This guy is the spitting image of my younger brother. They say that we all have a twin somewhere and you are my brothers twin.
I remember when my mom told me she saw you on BGT and said the same thing and i was like *Yeah yeah, if you say so mom*. Then i saw you myself on youtube and my first thought was: Hey, my brother made a youtube video.
After that i was blown away and i really enjoy listening to your music.
I never really enjoyed opera before until i heard you sing. i really like you.
Hello everyone, I am Margaret from New Zealand. My first encounter with Jonathan was when I saw a clip of his and Charlottes audition on Youtube, about four years ago I think. I was so touched by his story and his beautiful voice, I thought Charlotte was lovely too. Anyway I have been following Jonathan from afar ever since. I am so grateful to those kind people who share photos and videos from his various concerts etc. since I am very unlikely to ever get over to England to see him live. Do you all think Jonathan's charming personality adds to his appeal along with his marvelous voice?
Hi all Im Dii and I live in Rotorua, New Zealand. I like most of you have been following Jonathan since that evening in 2012 when he and Charlotte sang on BGT. Listening to his audition, and him words after, the look of total amazement and joy together - I was smitten. I am 74 years old and I will follow Jonathan for as long as the good Lord allows me to do so. Sometimes I feel like a stray cat picking up the crumbs from the Maestro's performances but thats ok too. It would be lovely to see him in NZ but somehow I dont think this will happen anytime soon.
Hi There, My Name is Ivy, and I live in Wales.U.K. I love All things Jonathan Antoine, and always will. I have been A Fan of Jonathans, Since BGT.He's My SuperStar, and until I heard Him Sing, I never imagined I would like Classical/Opera Music,, But Jonathan Has Changed All That. I do everything I can to Promote Him here in Wales, and elswhere, and will always do So. Wales Loves Jonathan, and His Family. He is Such an Inspiration to us All. Thank you Jonathan, for Being you, and as Chris Needs said, and we all Say, "Never Change," Stay as Kind, and Humble, and Beautiful as you Are. and May God Bless you Always. <3
Have been thinking about the feelings i get when i think back of these 5 years
Meeting Jonathan has enhanced my life . He has grown from a troubled teenager, to World class Tenore. My very 1st up close experience was via a Facebook message in 2012. I told him about my battle with a recurring Cancer, and offered him support for his depression. I had no idea I would get a reply and that was it I was already hooked, and nothing has changed except that I love him as I would any of my family. I AM A FANTOINE ;-) 💖
Hi everyone, not been around much lately, I have been rather busy with family situations here in Scotland. It will take me some time to grasp on to this new site; congratulations to all involved, this is a super new web page!
Helllllloooooo Fellow Fantoines, I'm Karen from Scotland, over 21 but young at heart 😄 When I arise in the morning I like to sip on a hot black magic potion, some call this substance coffee and it has powers enough to transform me from beast to human. I love sunshine, driving my car and being present during some of Jonathan Antoine's finest moments, Celebrity Fight Night in Phoenix being one of those finest. I first saw Jonathan on youtube and just could not stop watching his audition. Willing this youg nervous man to be good but he was so much more than good; he was life changingly MAGNIFICENT! There are no boundaries for Jonathan when it comes to his passion and expression during vocal exuberance and I have no issues with catching some of that in my heart. Heart and soul, Jonathan Antoine is an exquisite human being.
How wonderful Judie that you have a shared appreciation with your dad for Opera and Jonathan's voice. Sharing those moments with him are so very special I'm sure.
I was raised with an appreciation of Opera Music from my Dad who loved Mario Lanza and later Pavarotti. No one else caught my ear or made me stop and look until that wonderful night he was on BGT. I had to phone my dad and get him to listen also. The tears started and joy of finding Jonathan has grown and grown, the tears of pure joy when I listen I don't think will ever go away, something once again to share with my Dad. Maybe one day I will be able to overcome my Agoraphobia enough to attend a concert, but, it would be highly unlikely. I listen to Jonathan every day I never tire of his voice. Wish him the inner peace and happiness he gives to all who listen and love him.
Good morning to all Fantoines out there Worldwide. Im having a relatively quiet day for me, got up at 8 haircut at 9, British Lions Test Match from New Zealand. The Lions won. Now watching Cricket before the Tennis starts. Its a good job I have a treadmill here at home or I wouldn't be moving much from my chair today.
Not a normal for me sitting around. I have so many commitments with helping others, but today
is a day off.
I am eagerly waiting for July 14th and 15th so I can see you live again, a privilege Ive experienced many, many times , but im not getting any younger so I will cherish every moment I can share with you and your wonderful Fantoines.
Ive been trying to post tree pictures of my cats two of mine and one of Joe's but my android tablet where I store all my photos wont behave today. I have non on my laptop. That is my next job to find a way to migrate them to this new lap top <3
oops read that as HOW you are not who you are. But I will leave this here for now as family, Jonathan Antoine and sport (excluding football) is who I am xx Jane
Hello fellow Fantoines -both old friends and those I have yet to meet .
Like many others I fell under Jonathan's spell the night I saw him on BGT -his humility and shyness drew me in and his story touched me in a way I didn't know was possible. As soon as he sang my heart was lost and won all at the same time.
I am afraid I searched him out on social media the next day and he hasn't gotten rid of me since. I was privileged to meet him in the October of that year -2012-when he was performing for Samuel L Jackson in London .When he arrived I was so excited and overcome I ran up to him and almost sent poor Tracy flying in the process - I didn't know who she was at that time but she soon introduced herself and forgave me .
I have followed him and attended as many concerts as possible and each one he manages to blow me away a little bit more with his performances .
As I once said to him
"I was there at the beginning and I will be there until my end "
I'm from Vienna and I know Jonathan only a few months. My father was an opera singer and this music never interested me. Jonathan has changed that with his incredible voice and his bis heart. Now I have started playing the piano again (I play very badly) and I will be watching La boheme and Rigoletto this summer.

My favourite of so many wonderful memories I have accumulated these past 5 years, has to be a one in a million chance meeting on a London tube train shortly after BGT in July 2012. It was Year 6's residential trip, we were on our way back from the theatre. We all boarded a train, I got in a carriage with my group of children, turned and there he was - totally starstruck, but thankfully rescued by the children, who announced to all "IT'S THE AWESOME ONE" enough said.
